Postcard Show was Yesterday

Our club’s show was yesterday, and we had a pretty good turnout considering it was beautiful outside and the Kentucky Derby. Of course, the day flew by! 98% of the cards I bought were soldiers’ mail. Below are some of my finds.

ParatrooperParatrooper about to land in a bad spot. Mailed September 1944 by a sailor.

FairchildFairchild AT-21 Advance Trainer. Grogan photo mailed March 1944 from Alliance, Nebraska- home of the Alliance Air Base. Purchased from my postcard clubmate Louise!

Oh and let me know if you find anything out. From the messages. You should / could write a book. You could certainly do a great program for WC4.

Thanks Louise. I have started doing research for a book I would like to do, I submitted some proposals about a year ago but they got rejected 😦
