Postcards of Omaha

The owner of postcardsofomaha.com has vintage postcards of, surprise, Omaha, that he photographs with the featured current day building. There are photographs of post offices, theaters, hotels, and more. It is neat to look through the three galleries of photos to see how the buildings have changed, if at all, since the postcard was published. One of the galleries is dedicated to buildings that are no longer standing.

  1. Interesting site, like the way he photographed the location with the post card in the photo.

This is really cool! I would love to do something like this for my town, but unfortunately the majority of the things shown on postcards are long gone…
