Message from a Soldier: Private Dwight D. Daniels

Dwight Daniels

This card was mailed by Private Dwight D. Daniels to his wife while he was at Fort Knox in Kentucky. “Hello Honey. I am working in town but will write a letter tomorrow. I am feeling alright. Everything is quiet here in town tonight. Love, Dwight.”

According to his obituary from March, he was married to his wife Lois for 62 years. She passed away in 2005. Dwight was a carpenter for Pittsburgh Plate Glass for 28 years.
