Hallowe’en Greeting

This Whitney card was mailed October 29, 1919. “Dame Fortune will have smiled on me, Her cats the blackest ever seen…Will have brought to me the best of luck, If I may see you Hallowe’en.”

My kitties are the blackest I have ever seen 😉 Perfect for Halloween like the cats in the card!

we have an all black cat at our office complex – belongs to someone else but we feed the guy’s cats. He has a LOT. It is really sad, but black cats are the hardest to adopt at shelters. Which is so silly. but unfortunate. My daughter volunteered at shelter & the stories of dumping cats at Pet Smart stores, etc., is true — people leave cats in the stores.
