I always enjoying finding stamps on my postcards that aren’t the typical green one cent Franklin stamps or the red two cent John Adams stamps. This stamp on the back of a linen postcard postmarked in 1946 shows FDR and his home at Hyde Park.
This stamp was issued in 1945 after his death in April of 1945. Three other color stamps were also issued with a different scene on the right. The Collectibles Stamp Gallery has all four in mint condition for sale for $1.35. Clearly it is not a valuable stamp, but I still like it.
