One of the less common series by Dwig is called the Wurst Girl series, published by Charles Rose in 1908. All the girls are posing with sausages. The card to the left was sent in 1911 and the “wurst” message reads “The Wurst kind of a sandwich is not always the worst.” The girl below is sitting on a sausage and there is a beer stein. Clearly, these cards are very German-esque. That saying is “Even the wurst get thirsty.”
Recently on eBay I saw some from this series listed, but they are definitely not as common as some of Dwig’s other series, so you can expect to pay a little extra for these cards.
