Atlantic City by Moonlight

This is a comic card of drunk people on the Atlantic City boardwalk. The poem reads: “We’re lost, but we are on the way, The Boardwalk’s surely gone astray, What fearsome things this night befell, If we get home we’ll never tell.” Notice how the three men are linking arms, and being followed by police men. The buildings are wobbly, along with the boardwalk. This card was sent in 1909. It is potentially part of a series, as I have seen a similar card in the Philadelphia in Picture Postcards book.
