Ocean City, NJ

Ocean City New Jersey was founded in 1879 by four Methodist ministers, and the island still holds to the same Christian ideals today. Ocean City is a dry town- luckily there is a huge liquor store in the next town over before going in :p.

Famous for the boardwalk and Mack & Manco’s pizza, OC is referred to as America’s Greatest Family Resort, drawing over 100,000 tourists every summer. Landmarks like the Flanders Hotel and Music Pier should be on everyone’s list to see.

Besides postcards, another popular collectible are old OC beach tags. The idea of beach tags are foreign to some people- paying to go on the beach?! Yeah, I know. Ocean City is one of those beaches. And now people collect the tags, with the bicentennial 1976 tag fetching over $100.
