This cute poem was on the back of a postcard my boyfriend gave me. I suppose Lawrence was trying to “woo” Miss Ella O’Malley of Portageville, New York (an hour from Rochester, where the card was postmarked). This is a poem Lawrence wrote himself, as I tried Googling the first line and nothing came up. I hope Ella responded to him!
