Postcard with Fancy Handwriting

I am a postcard collector who cares about the back of a card as much as I do about the front. So every once in awhile I receive a card that has extraordinarily nice handwriting on it. Compared to today, I think people back then had nicer handwriting all around. But there are some cards that are a step above the others.

I love the handwriting on the back of this Valentine’s Day Clapsaddle card. It is very loopy and fancy. It is addressed to Miss Minnie Levy in Capay, California. The card was postmarked February 14, 1912 in Esparto, California, which is less than 3 miles away from Capay. The message says “From the one who Loves thee” with a name in quotes, but I can’t tell what the name is.
