Postcard series number 25 by HSV Litho of New York is unsigned by Dwig. I usually find these cards with no mention of Dwig connected to them, so I search by “That’s What They All Say.” I like this series because it makes fun of excuses people come up with. The first one is of two boxers and the skinny one is saying “I’ll be as strong as him in two weeks.” It is posted 1909. The second one is a crotchety old woman who is jealous of the younger woman, saying “I could throw a swell front too if I padded.” This one if posted 1910. Who knew people stuffed their bras back then, seems scandalous!
